Bari football club chooses Monopoli and Altamura stadiums for Serie C. Mayors received by the Prefect The society has asked for permission for the two options. In recent days, also the Monopoli had asked the Municipality of Bari for the availability of the San Nicola stadium, at least for some games, but Leccese has also denied this possibility in order not to give the floor to other possible polemics with the De Laurentiis. Now the choice is at a crossroads: the 45 kilometers of state road 96 towards Altamura or the 40 kilometers of state road 16 towards Monopoli. But the road to be taken seems to be in any case one, that of playing away from the San Nicola. The possibility for Bari football club to play the home games of the next Serie C championship without its stadium is taking shape due to the strong frictions, by letter, between the mayor Vito Leccese and the white and blue patron Luigi De Laurentiis. Yesterday morning, not by chance, the mayors of the two cities, the Monopolitano Angelo Annese and the Murgiano Vitantonio Petronella were summoned to Bari by the prefect Francesco Russo to inform them of the permission requested by the club for the two options.
