Bari wins big at the XI edition of the Italian Sport Awards, the Grand Gala of Football. For the 2021-2022 season, the club of president Luigi De Laurentiis will receive nine awards for the tournament that ended with promotion from C to B. The biancorossa team was chosen by the jury of professionals as the «best Club in Group C» and president Luigi De Laurentiis as the «best President» for having «known how to find the right combination of professionalism, skills and right people, to make the SSC Bari project a winning project». Director Ciro Polito will receive the award as «best Sports Director», Michele Mignani as «best Coach». Pierluigi Frattali will receive the award for «best Goalkeeper in Group C», while players Raffaele Pucino and Walid Cheddira will be included in the Top 11 Lega Pro. Awards also for the «Best Marketing Project/Strategy Club» to Daniele Quarto and a special award for the biancorossa fans elected as the «best in Group C». The award ceremony took place in Altavilla Silentina, in the Salernitano area. Bari had a very positive season, with promotion to Serie B and the nine awards received at the Italian Football Awards are an important recognition for the club and its fans. President Luigi De Laurentiis stated that he is very satisfied with the awards received and thanked the jury and the organizers of the event.
