The Guardia di Finanza has executed a preventive seizure decree for a total value of over 1.3 million euros, issued by the Bari Court of First Instance, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office. The Bari provincial command's financial police have seized cash, movable and immovable assets for a total value of over 1.3 million euros. The individuals subject to the precautionary measures are being investigated for embezzlement of public resources improperly diverted from the budgets of the Puglia Region Tourism Agency. In the same context, in 2024 and 2025, three ablatives had already been executed for a total value of over 1.2 million euros. The seizure operations constitute the culmination of further investigative activities carried out by the Bari Financial Police Economic and Financial Unit. The results of the investigation activity constitute further evidence of the constant commitment of the Guardia di Finanza in the fight against crimes committed by public officials, in the fight against waste of public money and in the protection of legality and good administration of the Public Administration.
