Ssc Bari is close to reaching an agreement with the City Council of Bari for the use of the San Nicola stadium. The biancorossa society has met the requirements requested by Mayor Vito Leccese. Among the requirements is the appointment of a new management that will not only manage the club, but also guide it towards a change of ownership. The society has also indicated Pierpaolo Marino as the new general manager with broad powers. Mayor Leccese has taken some more time to reflect: if he considers the responses obtained to be opportune, he will sign the letter of availability for the use of the San Nicola stadium for the 2026/27 tournament. Ssc Bari is the only applicant for the five-year concession of the San Nicola stadium. The offer is now under review by the judging commission. A decision is expected by the end of July.
