A 60-year-old man barricaded himself in a house in Bari after an argument with his mother. According to initial reports, the incident occurred on Via Prospero Petroni. Police, paramedics, firefighters, and local police were dispatched to the scene. The man allegedly locked himself in the house following a dispute with his mother. The dialogue with the police and emergency responders on the scene allowed for the avoidance of further tensions and the assistance of the elderly woman. The man was then taken away by ambulance. Several disruptions to traffic occurred due to the temporary closure of the street by the local police to allow for the intervention of the police.
